There are 2 crash fixes in 1.0.01:
- For some combinations of Qt and operating system (e.g. Qt 4.4.3 on openSUSE 11.1) an assertion failure got triggered when trying to change track info in the tag editor if the songs contained a picture in a format other than JPEG or PNG. (I'm not sure if this affected Windows or not; it didn't seem to matter on my computer.)
- The program would simply not work with the recently released Qt 4.6
All the packages have already been updated, including the Linux binaries.

Can you make an auto update feature to your great program?
ReplyDeleteI love it and it would trully be a good add
I'm not a big fan of auto updates. Besides this, the program is used on Windows, various Linux-es, and perhaps others. I guess you're using Windows. On a good deal of Linux machines, auto-update can be achieved using what the operating system provides, without MP3 Diags needing to make any effort. With Windows, there are all sort of things may go wrong and I don't have the time (or the desire) to deal with them.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, since there is already an automatic notification of new versions being available, keeping up-to-date shouldn't be such a burden.
